Last updated: July 14, 2026

This page explains how to delete your personal data from PostSider, operated by Lumi Zone Łukasz Blania (see our Privacy Policy for full details on the data we hold and how long we keep it). You can delete everything yourself from inside the app, remove a single connected platform, or ask us by email. This includes any data PostSider received from platforms you connected, such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X.

1. Delete Your Entire Account (Self-Service)

The fastest way to delete your data is from inside the app:

  • Sign in at app.postsider.com.
  • Open Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, and choose Delete account.
  • Confirm the deletion.

This deletes your workspaces, connected channels and their OAuth tokens, scheduled and published post records, media library, analytics history and user profile. After deletion, residual account data is retained for up to 90 days to allow recovery from accidental deletion, then deleted or anonymised; encrypted backups roll off on their normal schedule (typically within 30 to 90 days). Billing records are kept for the period required by Polish tax and accounting law. See Section 9 of the Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.

2. Disconnect a Single Platform

If you only want PostSider to stop holding data from one platform, disconnect that channel from the integrations page in the app. We delete the revoked OAuth tokens promptly, and we stop receiving any new data from that platform.

3. Facebook, Instagram and Threads (Meta)

You can also cut PostSider off from the Meta side:

  • Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites, find PostSider and remove it.
  • Instagram: go to Settings, then Apps and Websites (or Website Permissions in the app), find PostSider and remove it.

When you remove PostSider there, Meta notifies us and we delete the access tokens and the data we received from your Meta accounts, except records we must keep for legal reasons. If you want written confirmation, or you want Meta data deleted while keeping your PostSider account, email us as described below.

4. Google and YouTube

You can revoke PostSider's access to your Google data at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. After you revoke access, we delete the stored Google OAuth tokens promptly. You can also disconnect the YouTube channel from the integrations page in the app.

5. Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your account, or you want a specific subset of data deleted, email lukasz@postsider.com from the address associated with your account (or provide enough information for us to verify your identity). Tell us what you want deleted, for example "delete my account and all data" or "delete the data received from my Instagram account". We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, typically 30 days.

6. What We May Retain

We keep data only where the law requires or permits it after a deletion request: invoices and billing records under Polish tax and accounting law (typically 5 years), records needed to resolve disputes or prevent fraud, and security logs for up to 12 months. Everything else is deleted or anonymised as described above.
